She was married first to George H. Wisner in 1889. After his death in 1893 she married Frank W. Crockett. They divorced in 1906. In 1915 she married Dr. Harry W. Emeny. She was the daughter of Charles C. Gilman and Abigail Williams.

Funeral Thursday-Mrs. Fannie Emeny Dies-Centennial Queen
Mrs. Fannie W. Emeny, 86 of Emily, Minnesota, descendant of one of Eldora's best known pioneer families died Monday morning at a Crosby, Minnesota hospital at 4AM. Death was due to complications of age. She and her husband, Dr. H.W. Emeny had made their home at Emily since leaving here in 1940.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 o'clock from the Andrle and Creps Funeral Home in Eldora and interment will follow in Eldora Cemetery.
Mrs. Emeny's history had been so closely linked to that of Eldora that members of the Buttons and Bows Club, official women's centennial organization had voted to name her as Eldora Centennial Queen.
In spite of the fact that she had been in failing health for some time it had been hoped she would be able to return for the event in June.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Gilman, Mrs. Emeny was first married to George Wisner, son of another illustrious pioneer family who died in 1893. She later married Dr. Emeny, who served four terms as Eldora Mayor from 1916 to 1920 and from 1934 to 1938.
Surviving her in addition to Dr. Emeny are one son, Gilman Wisner, Brainerd, Minnesota and one daughter, Mrs. Lois Blommquist, Emily, Minnesota.
Eldora business places will be closed from 2 until 3 o'clock, Thursday for the funeral.
