The funeral for Samuel W. Ott, 70, of 220 Madison Ave., will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Nichols Funeral Home, with the Rev. Edgar LaCombe 3rd officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Foxwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Ott died Tuesday evening at his home.
Surviving are his wife, a son, a daughter, five grandchildren; two brothers, and a sister.
A son, Paul William, died as an infant and a brother, Albert Clair, died before him.
Born at Lees Crossroads, Pa., on April 13, 1919, a son of James A. and Cora E. Ott Ott, he married Alice B. LaCombe on Dec. 15, 1945.
Mr. Ott served with the Army in Germany during World War II. He was employed with the New York State Department of Labor as a laborer for 26 years. He retired in 1976.
He was a member of the Ogdensburg Acacian Lodge 128, F&AM, the American Legion Post 69 and the Cranberry Lake Fish and Game Club.
