PULASKI — Marvin Otis Quesenberry, 86 of Pulaski, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005 in Pulaski Community Hospital. Born December 27, 1918, he was the son of the late Nettie Nunn Quesenberry and George Quesenberry. Also preceding him in death were one brother and seven sisters.
He was a member of the Pulaski Primitive Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during W.W.II as a Gunners Mate on ships carrying gasoline and ammunition. He made 18 trips across the Atlantic Ocean and one trip across the Pacific Ocean, and on one trip running the German Gauntlet of submarines where there were 10 ships sunken around him.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Sharp Quesenberry and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons with Elder Jay Harris officiating.
Interment will follow in the Moore Cemetery, Delton, with the V.F.W. Post 1184 giving military honors. Visiting will be anytime Thursday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.seaglefuneralhome.com
