Edward Barrickman, 74, of Stoney Brook Drive, Elizabeth Twp., died yesterday at home. Retired deputy sheriff for Allegheny County and a former constable in Jefferson, he was a former police officer in Elizabeth, life member of Floreffe and West Elizabeth Volunteer Fire Cos., member and past president of L.O.O. Moose Lodge 142 of Elizabeth and member of Legion of the Moose in Elizabeth.
Born in Dravosburg, Aug. 29, 1913, he was the son of the late Edward Barrickman and Ella Fortner Korposh. Husband of the late Mary E. Wray Barrickman, he is survived by daughters, Eva Weber with whom he resided and Kay Curry of Jefferson; son, James E. of Jefferson; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a niece.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home in Elizabeth where service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Thomas Petrosky. Burial will be in Round Hill Cemetery. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
