OBITUARY

Deborah Mae LaFollette, the sixth child of Jacob and Emeline Goltry, was born near Russell, Iowa on September 18, 1871. She died at State Hospital, Benton, Arkansas, on July 7, 1955, at the age of 83 years, 9 months and 12 days.

She was married to Charles LaFollette in 1893. They spent their early married life in and near Russell. In 1913 they established their home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, which continued to be her home until she was moved to the hospital.

Four sisters and five brothers preceded her in death. Those surviving are one brother, A. R. Goltry of Russell, Iowa and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret LaFollette of Ottumwa, Iowa and Mrs. Flora Cooper of Villisca, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at the Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and burial at Siloam Springs.
