Harry Lee Mullins, 92, of Bluefield died Sunday morning, May 31, 2009 at the Mercer Nursing and Rehab Center in Bluefield. Born on March 4, 1917 in Princeton, he was a son of the late Rev. Charles W. and Willie Ann Smith Mullins. He was retired from N and S Railroad with over 35 years of service. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees. Mr. Mullins was of the Baptist faith and was a loving and wonderful husband and father. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherri Lane; four brothers; and five sisters. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Catherine L. Brinkley Mullins; children, Brenda M. Wilson and husband Keith of Tampa, Fla., Gary Lee Mullins and wife Doris of Bluefield, Kim Johnston and husband Mark of Stony Point, N.C.; grandchildren, Les Wilson, Cameron Mullins, Jessica Mullins; four great-grandchildren; stepgreat-grandson, David Wilson; sister, Eula Pritchett of Princeton; half brother, Buster Mullins of Roanoke, Va.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Charlie Rice and Pastor Eugene Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton. Members of the family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Mullins family is being served by the Memorial Funeral Directory and Cremation Center on the Athens Road in Princeton.
