Conway Mrs. Addell Collins Allen, widow of Wade Hampton Allen died at a local Florence Hospital Saturday.
Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Sunday from the Goldfinch Funeral Chapel, with the Rev Henry S Yarborough pastor of Jamestown Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Brown Swamp Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen was born in Marion County on Sept 8 1887 and was a member of the Jamestown Baptist Church. Her husband died Jan 26 1951.
Surviving are two sons Wade Hampton Allen of Loris, and Luther Allen of Conway; three daughters Mrs. Jackie (Essie)McLaughlin of Florence and Mrs. J. P. (Allene) Bland and Mrs. Dillon J. (Elizabeth) Cox both of Myrtle Beach
