Norma Jean Mahaney married James E. Franklin twice and would have her first five children with him. She was then with Ward Thomas Gholson for many years although they never married. She would have her next 5 children with him. Upon learning he was going to marry someone else, she married Charles W. Siddall, her last husband. She was only married to him for 3 months before she would pass away exactly 3 months to the day of marrying Mr. Siddall. Because of the short time they were married, and the fact that her Gholson sons knew of her love for their dad, they had a headstone made using his last name, Gholson, instead of her married name of Siddall. Norma Jean had 14 children and died pregnant with her 15th.
