Harriet A. Lovely , 54, of 410 Jersey Ave., died early Wednesday at her home. She had been ill with cancer.
Mrs. Lovely was an inspector for Compass for many years and most recently was a certified nurse's aide at Cedars Nursing Home.
Born Aug. 6, 1953 , in Ogdensburg, a daughter of Kenneth and Kathleen Kitts Durham, she graduated from Heuvelton Central School.
She married Roger Lovely on July 22, 1989. They lived in Ogdensburg all of their married life.
Mrs. Lovely enjoyed her dogs, citizens band radio and playing bingo. She also enjoyed collecting Native American items, angels and dolls.
Surviving besides her husband are a son and his fiancee, four sisters, two brothers and a sister-in-law, and eight grandchildren.
Two brothers, Kenneth and Clarence Durham, and three sisters, Marion, Judy and Diane Durham, died before her.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fox-McLellan Funeral Home with the Rev. Nora Jerzak officiating. Entombment will be in Foxwood Memorial Park.
