Marjorie L. Looney, 84, North Meadow Street, died Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's Home.
Mrs. Looney was a cosmetologist in Oswego for a time.
She enjoyed bridge, bowling, tennis, basketball, gardening and knitting.
Born Oct. 10, 1917, in Oswego, a daughter of Curtis and Katherine McKay Herriman, she graduated from Oswego High School and Rochester School of Cosmetology.
She married George B. Looney on June 21, 1947, at St. Paul's Church, Oswego.
Surviving besides her husband, former Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority board chairman, are two sons, a daughter, two sisters, nine grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Two brothers, Richard and Albert Herriman, and two grandchildren died before her.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church with Monsignor Harry K. Snow, rector, officiating. Entombment will be in Foxwood Memorial Park.
