Son of Giles Franklin Parman and Martha Jane Magill Parman.Aubrey had  3 brothers Francis Marion, homer Giles and Dewitt Talmadge who died at 6 months. 2 sisters Rebecca Irene and Anna Laura. All were born Gentry County Missouri.

Aubrey parents purchased a farm from a Mr.McClellan and the family traveled by train on Febuary 22, 1907. Mr. McClellan met them at the train depot in Sayre Oklahoma turning the team and wagon over to them which they had acquired in the sale and they traveled to their home in Dempsey Oklahoma.

Services were held for Aubrey Bryan Parman at the United Methodist Church, Cheyenne, Wednesday, April 1, 1981, at 3:30 p.m. Homer Williams officiated with the assistance of Willard Cox.

Aubrey was born on August 16, 1896 in Albany, Missouri and passed away on March 30, 1981 in the Sayre Memorial Hospital after an extended illness at the age of 84 years, 7 months, and 14 days.

He, with his parents, moved to the Dempsey area in February of 1907, and he attended school at Dempsey and Meadowbrook. On May 29, 1918 he married Julia Elizabeth Erwin in Dempsey, Oklahoma.

He has been a member of the Reydon United Methodist Church since 1916. He served in the infantry in WW I in France from 1918-1919 when he was Honorably Discharged. He retired from his work as a farmer and carpenter in 1964.

Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Curtis Marion; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; and 1 daughter-in-law. He is survived by his wife, Julia; 1 daughter, Laveda Cannon of Cheyenne; 2 sons, Aubrey, Jr. of Portland, Oregon and Erwin L. of Reydon; 1 brother, Homer Parman of Reydon; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild, 1 son-in-law; 1 daughter-in-law, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Interment was at Demspey Cemetery, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Rose Chapel Funeral Services, Cheyenne, in charge of Arrangements. The pallbearers were Clyde Isch, Gene Estes, Dave Cooprider, Floyd Harmon, Earl Daugherty, and R.L. (Babe) Frankford.
