Funeral services were held in Welch's Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. June 1, 1971 in Baton Rouge, with interment in Rest Haven Garden of Memories Cemetery in Baton Rouge.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Robertson Ingles, of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Cooper of Jackson, La., Mrs. John Landry and Mrs. Clyde L. Dubois of Baton Rouge, three sons, George W. Ingles of Baton Rouge, Quincy N. Ingles of Port Hudson, La., and John M. Ingles of Chalmette, La., 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. C. R. Brown of Winnfield, La., three brothers, J. B. Ingles and Dee Ingles of Winnfield and Thomas R. Ingles of Texas City, Texas.
He lived most of his life in Winnfield, La., but moved to Baton Rouge several years ago where he was employed by the State Highway Department. He was a member of the Ingleside Methodist Church in Baton Rouge.
He is also survived by a number of nephews, nieces and cousins here in Winnfield and a great aunt, Mrs. Sarah Howard.
