Waldron Mary S (Whitcomb) was born July 5, 1840, and died Feb. 7, aged 58 years 7 months and 2 days. Her former home was in Valparaiso where she left 2 brothers, and also one sister living in Iowa. Being thrown upon her own resources by the death of both parents she began to work in the woolen mills at that place and later when the factory was moved to Iowa, she with other girls, went with it. Not liking it there, she came to Rome City to work in the woolen mills. While here she married Uriah Waldron Dec. 14, 1873, and they immediately moved to Brimfield where they have since made their home. They had 3 sons, who survive her. In 1889 she united with the United Brethren Church of Brimfield where funeral was held. Burial, Orange Cemetery
