Katherine Moore, 65, of 108 Hall St., died at 3:15 p.m. Monday (Nov. 26, 2001) in her home, following a lengthy illness. She was born April 19, 1936, in Austin, Pa., the daughter of the late Lloyd Lester and Luella Elizabeth Finlaw Irwin. A Sheffield resident most of her life, she had been employed by Blair Corp. for 15 years, and most recently by Ruth Smith Day Care, retiring because of illness. She was a member of Sheffield United Methodist Church and Pine Acres Country Club in Bradford. She loved golf and bowling, but especially enjoyed working with children. She is survived by her husband, Robert A. ‘‘Bud'' Moore, whom she married May 12, 1956, in Sheffield; two daughters: Kim Clyde of Kane, Pa., and Nancy McCracken of Tiona, Pa.; a son, Robert ‘‘Andy'' Moore of Sheffield; six grandchildren: Heidi and Lindsey Blankenship, Luke McCracken, Katie Cunningham, Grant Clyde and Allie Moore; a brother, Lloyd Westley Irwin of Warren; and five sisters: Elizabeth Cochran and Margaret Fox, both of Ludlow, Pa., Pauline Miller of Sheffield, and Edith Alabaugh and Esther Jones, both of Warren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Kenneth Irwin.
