Mr. Virgel Linley Huskey,89, of Tuckerman, Arkansas, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Newport.
He was born September 9, 1919 at Jackson County, Arkansas, the son of William and Ethel (Eagen) Huskey.
**Although his obit lists him as son of William and Ethel Eagan Huskey, his 1920 census clearly shows him as son of William and first wife Josie Waggoner Huskey. William and Ethel did not marry until Sep 05, 1925.

Mr. Huskey was a retired self-employed car dealer, and of the Baptist belief. He was a United States Army veteran, serving in World War II. He enjoyed fishing and owning race horses.
Mr. Huskey was preceded in death by one brother, Tillman Huskey and his parents.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Mrs. Dorothy (Smith) Huskey; one sister, Alice Tidwell of Jonesboro; a nephew, Boyce Huskey and wife Jean of Oklahoma; and one niece, Rhonda Cooper and son Jason of Muskokee, Oklahoma. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Penix and Leroy Hunt.
Graveside services were at Gracelawn Cemetery. Arrangements were by Jackson's Funeral Home.
