Walter H. Acker, of 704 14th Street Northwest, is one of the most successful men in his line and combines with his real estate operations the practice of the law and placing of insurance. He established his business in 1883.

He is a native of Washington and a graduate of Princeton University and the National University Law School. He practices before all of the courts and is connected in a proprietary way with a number of financial enterprises. He does a general real estate business, including the sale, purchase, exchange and renting of property, the entire management of estates and the collection of rents. He negotiates loans, this being his specialty and he invests money to advantage for his clients. He has a large business in the insurance line, placing risks in leading companies.

Mr. Acker's references are among the highest in this city. He has upon his books the descriptions of some of the most desirable property in the city and surrounding country, and possesses unsurpassed facilities for the bringing together of investors, landowners and tenants. Mr. Acker's business record in realty circles renders him one of the most acceptable agents to retain in any transaction that relates to property.
