Martha was born in El Vado NM and married Telesforo Gallegos (Ted for short). Ted was in the Armys 10th Mountain Division based out of Colorado and fought in WW II. He passed on Mothers Day approx 27 years ago. As a veteran he is buried at Fort Logan National VA Cemetary in Denver, CO. Martha is also buried there with him. She was a loving mom, mom-in-law, grandma, and great-grandma. She was all about family and wanted for her 92 birthday, all the family together. Tragically she passed 6 days prior to that but we granted her wish and held her service on her birthday, complete with a birthday cake. The pastor even had us sing happy birthday to her. It was very nice. We then took her remains the next day to Southern CO for a catholic mass and then had her buried with her husband, Ted. She lived with us for 17 years and I truly miss her. She could light up a room prior to getting sick. She was one great lady.
