Coushatta, Louisiana – Services for Mr. Self N. Bamburg, 73, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 19, 1993 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Coushatta. Officiating was Elder Allen Watson, Steven Kuretich and President John Paul. Burial was in the Thomas-Wren Cemetery.
Mr. Bamburg died Wednesday, February 17, 1993 in Bossier City after a lengthy illness. He was a life- long resident of Coushatta. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Thomas Bamburg.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Latricia and Steve Kuretich of Bossier City; two beloved grandsons, Michael Milam and Bradley Kuretich; three sisters, Arthea Buswell, Claudia Dee Maloch and Addie Lee Layfield; one brother Joel Bamburg all of Coushatta.
