She was the spouse of Arthur A. Roberts.

Mrs. Roberts

MOULTON -- Mrs. Lizzie Roberts, 83, Rt. 1, Moulton, died at the residence Sunday at 2:05 p.m.

Funeral services will be hald Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Landersville Methodist Church, with James Hood and Rev. Ronald Manley officiating. Burial will follow in Landersville Cemetery with Elliott of Moulton directing.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Oscar White, Mrs. Byron White, Sr., Mrs. William Young, Mrs. Claude Cunningham, all of Rt. 1, Moulton, Mrs. C.F. Latham, Rt.1, Town Creek; three sons, Russell Roberts, John Mitch Roberts, both of Rt. 1, Town Creek, Abner Roberts, Chicago, Ill.; a brother, Cumpe Ayers, Rt. 1, Moulton; two sisters, Mrs. Byrd Cagle, Rt. 1, Moulton, Mrs. Jewel White, Muscle Shoals; 34 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be Bob Young, Wallace White, Byron White, Jr., Joe Roberts, Wendell Roberts, Charles Latham.

The body will remain at the residence until it is taken to the church to lie in state for one hour.

She was a member of the Owens Chapel Baptist Church for 50 years, a native of Colbert County.
