Okla Lucille Allen was born April 27, 1912, in Falls City, Nebraska, to August V. and Aimmie (Bridgmon) Boggs. As a small child, she moved with her parents to Fort Calhoun, where she graduated from high school in 1930.
On May 30, 1938, she married Mac Allen. The couple farmed in Washington County until 1982, when they retired and moved to Blair. Most recently, Mrs. Allen made her home in Minnesota.
Mrs. Allen enjoyed cooking, sewing, embroidery, genealogy, and scrapbooking. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church for more than 50 years, and was a past member of Eastern Star.
