Sarah Ritter Davis, 77, of West End died Saturday, June 3, 2006, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Pinebluff United Methodist Church, with burial following in Bethesda Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Mrs. Davis was born Nov. 1, 1928, in Pinehurst to the late Dewey Linney and Alma Horner Ritter. She was a beautician until 1971, when she became a pharmacy technician. She worked at Moore Regional Hospital and retired from the N.C. Department of Corrections at McCain Hospital. She was a graduate of West End High School Class of 1945 and enjoyed the monthly fellowship of her classmates.
Surviving are her sons, Charles Davis of Pinebluff and Edward Davis of Jackson Springs; a sister Nancy Craven, of Lexington; two grandchildren, Christina Fradenburgh and Janet Davis of Jackson Springs; and a great-grandson, Davis Fradenburgh.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pinebluff United Methodist Church, 275 E. Philadelphia Ave. Pinebluff, NC 28373.
