KRUCKENBERG:

Emma E. Kruckenberg of Loveland. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday,
January 21 at Allnutt Funeral Chapel 2100 N. Lincoln Ave, Loveland. Interment at
Lakeside Cemetery.
Emma Elizabeth Kruckenberg, 96, of Loveland died Jan. 18, 2005, at her home.
She was born Sept. 26, 1908, in Loveland to Henry and Elizabeth Kitzman.
She married Ralph Kruckenberg on Dec. 19, 1928, in Loveland.
She was a resident of Denver for 44 years and of Greeley for six years and had
been a resident of Loveland since 1985.
Mrs. Kruckenberg had the full-time job of homemaker. She raised two children and
baby-sat for the children of many family members and friends.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Denver. She enjoyed keeping
the house, caring for children, gardening, listening to music, traveling and
visiting with relatives, and she loved making mosaics at Stepping Stones Adult
Day Care Center.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Lou Scorby and Gloria Ann Medo and
husband Harold, all of Loveland; three brothers, August Kitzman and wife Evelyn
of Brighton, Elmer Kitzman and wife Martha of La Salle, and Edwin Kitzman and
wife Wanda of Greeley; three sisters, Elsie Sitzman of Greeley, Esther Messman
of Lakewood, and Lilian DeCarolis and husband Bob of Tempe, Ariz.; two
sisters-in-law, Sarah Kitzman of Denver and Edith Kitzman of Tacoma, Wash.; four
grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Arthur Kitzman, Reuben
Kitzman and Alvin Kitzman; and a sister, Olinda Sweeny.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Allnutt Hunter Chapel.
