"New Milford Child Drowns in Creek"
New Milford, Oct 5 The three-year-old son of Mr and Mrs Neff who reside on a farm about one mile north of this place, while playing near the house fell into a small creek which was bank full, due to the heavy rain the day previous, on Friday afternoon, and was drowned before he could be rescued. The funeral was held at the house on Sunday at 1 o'clock, the Rev H C Adama of St Mark's Episcopal church officiating. Burial was in the New Milford Cemetery
