Veteran of the American Revolution. He served in Capt.McClellan's Company of minutemen on the Lexington Alarm and the Bennington Alarm.

He married Hannah Dalrymple on Nov 24,1784 at Colrain,MA.

Children: Hannah White Pierce(wife, possibly the first, of William Pierce who moved to Truxton,NY and is possibly the William buried here), James White Jr, Jacob White, Jane White, Mary M White Babbitt, Enos White, Stephen White, John White, Sally White Merrifield, Eleanor White Burrington, Lewis White, Jane White, and Lona White Clapp.
