DOMINIC BARISCIANO, 76, RETIRED APPRAISER
Dominic Barisciano, 76, of New Dorp, a retired appraiser, died yesterday in Staten Island University Hospital, Ocean Breeze.
Born in New Brighton, he moved to New Dorp in 1962.
He worked as an appraiser for U.S. Customs, retiring in 1980.
A graduate of Curtis High School, he served in the Army from 1942 to 1945. He enjoyed all types of sports, including baseball.
Surviving is his wife, the former Ruzena Doback; a brother, Angelo Barisciano, and a sister, Frances Giovanniello.
The funeral will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the Matthew Funeral Home, Willowbrook. Burial will follow in Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp.
