Harry N. Bray, 83, formerly of 502 Walnut Street, died Friday, October 3, 2008 at the Lutheran Home at Kane where he resided.
Born October 22, 1924, in Kane, he was a son of Harry N. and Adelia Cournean Bray Houser who preceded him in death. He was raised by the late Sidney Houser since 1929. n May 29, 1949, in Kane, he married Barbara Ann Hallberg who survives.
Before his retirement, he was employed as a night watchman for Stackpole.
Mr. Bray was a graduate of Kane High School and a veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Marines. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
He and his wife enjoyed taking rides around the Kinzua Dam area.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are four sons, Harry Bray and his wife, Pam, Michael Bray and his companion, Sally Ardabell, Edwin Bray and his wife, Judy, and Todd Bray, all from Kane; three daughters, Cheryl and her husband, Anthony Scuteri of Sheffield, Christine and her husband, Robert Johnson of Kane, and Debbie Bray and her fiance, Kevin Pierson of Warren; nine grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; and a cousin, Henrietta Ralston of Sheffield.
