Funeral services for Mrs. Lee Neely, who died early Friday morning in a Conway hospital, were conducted from the First Baptist Church Sunday afternoon by Rev. H. H. Wells Jr., pastor. Interment followed in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Neely was taken to the Conway Hospital Thursday afternoon having been in ill health for the past six years. The body remained at the Mayer Funeral Home until the hour for the services.
Mrs. Neely, the former Miss Dealie Lambert, was born September 1, 1896, the daughter of John and Sealie Cox Lambert. She is survived by her husband Lee Neely, and the following children Mrs. Ethel Harrell, Mrs. Lena Thomas, Miss Ada Bell Neely, Miss Louise Neely, Roy Neely, and Stella Neely, all of Georgetown.
Also surviving are one sister Mrs. Lu Lambert of Charleston and two brothers J. S. Lambert of Pheobus VA, and Melvin Lambert of Georgetown.
