Mrs. E. N. Brown, wife of the Hon E. N. Brown, of Hurtsboro, died at the Union depot in Columbus, Ga. on last Saturday evening at 6:15 o'clock. She had been in bad health for some time and was en route to Rome, Ga., for medical treatment at the time of her death. She was a member of the M. E. Church at Hurtsboro, and was a noble Christian woman. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. G. Boyd last Sunday afternoon, in Hurtsboro."
