On April 9, 2009 Louis Herbert Rich, Sr. entered his heavenly mansion prepared by our Lord.
He is survived by two sisters: Grace Wozniak of Saginaw and Helen Schank of Essexville; four loving children: Lisa Lee Worley of Gainesville, FL, Lori Bartholomew of Wayne, MI, Lily Beal, Gainsville, FL and Louis Herbert Rich, Jr. of Weidman, MI. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Jacob and Tod Jr. Bartholomew, Katelyn and Emily Beal, Alyssa and Caleb Rich and one great-grandson, Clifford Taylor. He leaves behind many loved ones and relatives and those "nieces he really loved to pieces" who will all miss him dearly.
A memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 2175 S. Coldwater Rd., Mt. Pleasant, MI. on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Louis' family requests that donations be sent to Zion Lutheran Church for family wishes. The family wishes to express special gratitude to the staff at Woodland Hospice House for the tender, loving care given to Louis in his final days.
