JOHNSON

Juanita Johnson, the daughter of Ivan and Olive Hammond Hall, was born April 17, 1900 at Fort Dodge, Iowa, and passed away on Nov. 22, 1985 at the Methodist Hospital in Des Moines at the age of 85 years.

She was united in marriage to Raymond Johnson in 1918 at Clarke County, Iowa. They lived most of their married life in the Lucas County area. She moved to the Embassy Manor in Newton in the summer of 1984.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1963, and three sons, Warren, Dale and Charles, and one daughter, Marjorie.

Survivors include a son, Don Johnson of Newton, and a daughter, Arlene Wright of Newton, 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Also, two brothers, Darwin Hall of Chariton and Ausin Hall of Lander, Wyo., and two sisters, Delia Baker of Cudahy, Calif., and Wilma Weakland of Osceola, along with many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 25, 1985 at the Mosher Funeral Home in Chariton. The service was conducted by Rev. Jerry Hambleton. Bearers were Walter Sivill, Keith Nickelson, John Boeitje, Don Willis, Ron Brandt and Donnie Briggs. Burial was in the Bethel Cemetery.
