George Benjamin Warner was the second son of Lester Lucius Warner and Dorothy "Dolly" Jane LaFurge.

He married Rosa Ella Blood on 04 Mar 1890 in Jackson, Jackson, Michigan(Source: Personal family records and Michigan Marriages 1868-1925 #2342488) They were the parents of 11 children and were always proud of their large family.

George is remembered throughout Ingham County farming community for operating a Threshing Machine Outfit for more than 30 years, with Levi Sleight.

The 1916-1921 Rural Directory for Ingham Co. shows George with wife Rosa having 11 children and owning/farming 4acres; two cattle at R7 Mason Aurelius Twp. Ingham Co., MI: Warner, George B. (Rosa) 11 ch farming 0 4a 2c R7 Mason Aur 70 Ind tel.

Taken from a newspaper article regarding their 50th Wedding Anniversary:

Mr. and Mrs. George B. Warner of 1915 Edgar Road, Aurelius, will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary on Monday, May4, with an open house from one until five o'clock in the afternoon and from seven to nine o'clock in the evening.On Sunday the children and grandchildren will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Warner for a family gathering in their honor.

Miss Rose E. Blood and George B. Warner were married March 4, 1890 in Jackson. Their attendants were the groom's sister, Miss Mary Warner, now Mrs. Fred Walton of Jackson and the bride's brother, Charles Blood. They made their home in Jackson for eight years, moving in 1898 to the farm in Aurelius Township where they have since resided. They are the parents of eleven children: Mrs. Hazel Cowing of Rives Junction; Mrs. Blanche Smith of Leslie; Laura Wilson of North Aurelius; Lucius Warner, who was killed in action in the World War; Mrs. Edith Lounsbury (their spelling) of Lansing; Boyd Warner of Aurelius; Dean Warner of Vevay; Mrs. Irene Smith of Leslie; Ralph Warner of Bunker Hill; Bert (their spelling) Warner of Aurelius and Mrs. Nietta Bartlett of Mason.

There are 13 grandchildren. Mr. Warner has eight brothers and sisters, Mrs. Mary Walton of Jackson; Mrs. Belle Beers of Lansing; Mrs. Nellie Kitley of Leslie; Mrs. Hattie Acker of Coleman; Dennis Warner of Leslie; Carl Warner of Aurelius; Ed Warner of Aurelius and Will Warner of Leslie. Mrs. Warner has one sister, Mrs. John Bills of Jackson.
