"Mrs. Reba McGill of 1216 North Bellevue, former cafe operator, died at 9:05 last night at St. Joseph possible after a long illness. She was 71. Born in Kentucky, Mrs. McGill had lived in Memphis since 1910. She operated a cafe in North Memphis several years and was employed at the American Snuff Co. 15 years. She was a Methodist. Her husband, C. H. McGill is a retired carpenter. She also leaves a son Joseph R. McGill of 3120 Kingston, Mrs. Robert R. Scott of 3682 Overton Crossing, Mrs. James R. Scott of 1849 Lynnwood, and Mrs. Calvin W. Littles of 3120 Kingston, two brothers, Walter Parish of 3120 Kingston and James Parish of Kentucky; 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Memphis funeral home has charge."
