Arthur J. Sealy, my great grandfather, was the son of James M. Sealy (1856-1904) and Clarissa Huntley (1823-1863). He married Harriet Frances Lundy (1862-1951) and they raised a family of two daughters - Ruby May and Pearl Viola - and one son, Oliver Edward.

OBITUARY
Mr. A. J. Sealy, the contractor, died at his home on Territorial street at 7:15 a.m. Saturday, after a long illness. Mr. Sealy had been a patient sufferer for a year and a half, he having vainly sought relief at Ann Arbor, in California and in the South. He had to give up work a year ago last August, and last season the only work he did was to supervise the erection of the Kidd, Dater & Co. building. Mr. Sealy was 38 years of age this month. He leaves a wife and three children. The funeral of the late A.J. Sealy, was held Monday afternoon followed by burial in Hagar cemetery.[also known as "Lakeshore" - JJ]
