Obituary
Mrs. Clara A. Ballard, 80, passed away Saturday at the Hamilton County Hospital where she had been a patient for three weeks, following a fall in her home at Westfield in which she suffered a broken hip.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Westfield Wesleyan Methodist church by the Revs. H.R. Waldo and Owen Heinzman and burial followed in Summit Lawn cemetery south of Westfield. Arrangements were by the McMullan Mortuary.
A native of Washington Township, where she lived her entire life, Mrs. Ballard was a daughter of Milton and Elizabeth (Cloud) Clark. She was the widow of Rufus Ballard who died in 1949.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Paul Stewart, of Sheridan, nine grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and two brothers, Otto Clark and john Clark, both of Westfield community.
