Lorna, 9 years, passed away suddenly. Survived by parents Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ritz; sister, Linda; brothers, Larry and Lanny; grandmother, Mrs Lillie Cutright, Akron, uncles and aunts. Funeral services Saturday at 11:00 am at the Hopkins Funeral Home.
Lorna and her friend, Lori Crowe, were picking up trash in the neighborhood and were kidnapped and murdered by a neighbor.
They both attended Bettes Elementary School where cenotaphs were placed and two flowering crab apple trees were planted in their memory.

I am so sorry for your loss so many years ago. Lorna's passing had a profound impact on my life. Lorna and I were playmates at Bettes. I often thought of Lorna as I was raising my 3 sons. She will always be in my heart and thoughts.
