Gladys L. Brodie, 93, Klamath Falls, died April 22, 1992, in Klamath Falls.
She was born in Pierson, Iowa to William and Minerva Chesley.
At age 3 she moved with her family to Washington state. The family moved to Philomath in 1902 and Corvallis in 1911.
She started her employment with Pacific Northwest Bell in 1916. She was promoted to traffic office manager in 1928 and transferred to Medford in 1930 and Klamath Falls in 1933.
She married John Brodie in 1935.
Mrs. Brodie retired from the telephone company Aug. 1, 1949.
She was a life member of Telephone Pioneers of America and a member of First Christian Church.
Surviving are her sister-in-law, Adeline Chesley, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982.
