Daughter of William & Jeanne (Baxter) Sargant and wife of David King Aldrich. They were married 53 years. She was also married to the late Thomas L. Beitel. She was a graduate of Wellesley (Mass.) College and a life member of the American Association of University Women. She was a life member of Girls Scouts of America and past president of the Great Valley Council, Allentown. She was past president of the Friends of the Allentown Library and a volunteer for the Longboat Key (Fla.) Art Association. She was a recipient of the Weld Award from the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
