Funeral services were held Thursday, May 14, at 1 p.m. at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Ralph R. Riddle, 92, who passed away Monday, May 11, at Mountain Manor Nursing Home in Paintsville.
Mr. Riddle was born Jan. 10, 1917, in Mingo County, W. Va., son of the late Hatler and Esta Varney Riddle. He was a federal mine inspector and a U. S. Air Force veteran.
He was also preceded in death by his wife Nancy Rhea Shawver Riddle, and a daughter, Carol Pauley.
He is survived by two sons, of Paintsville; two daughters; one brother of Beckley, W.Va.; one sister, of Williamson, W. Va., one sister-in-law, of Elyria, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Tim Temple with burial was at Ridgelawn Memorial Park in Huntington, W.Va.
Arrangements under the direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
