St. Clair, Sept. 18—Walter Burnor, 73, of 506 Adams street, resident here 37 years, local barber, died Saturday in Mercy Hospital, Port Huron, after a long illness.He was born Dec. 10, 1881, in Toledo, O., and moved to St. Clair in 1917. His wife, Mrs. Mary Burnor, died in 1948.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lorne Dodea, St. Clair; a brother, Louis Bornor, Bay City, and two grandchildren.
The remains are in the L. C. Friederichs funeral home where funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Services also will be held at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic church.Rev. Harold Krucher, assistant pastor of St. Mary's , will officiate at both services.Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today by the Stella Morris Circle, Daughters of Isabella, and Rosary Altar society, in the funeral home. Men of the Parish will recite Rosary at 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
