Martha Belle Greer, 93, of Elizabethton, passed away Friday, April 5, 2018 in the Life Care Center of Elizabethton.
A native of Avery County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Cloyd H. & Mary Harmon Parlier. She had lived in Elizabethton for several years. She worked at Milligan College in the Dining Department for several years. Mrs. Greer was a member of True Gospel Baptist Church. She loved to quilt, sew and loved to travel.
In addition to her parents also was preceded in death by her husband, Dan E. Greer, a daughter, Selma Greer, four brothers; Clint, Ernest, Reubin and Troy and a sister, Sally.
Survivors include one son, one daughter, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday in True Gospel Baptist Church with Reverends Dean Presnell and Charles Cable officiating. Graveside service and interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in the Fall Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Beech Mountain, North Carolina.
