Served eastern states LDS mission. President 72nd Quarum of Seventies in Granite Stake. Lived most of life in Holladay.

Funeral Friday noon, Holladay Third-Tenth LDS Ward Chapels, 2600 E. 4800 South. Friends call Thursday, 6-8 p.m. 4760 S. State, and Friday one hour prior to serv ices at family residence. Burial, Holladay Cemetery.

James William Park Brockbank had the usual experiences of a boy raised on a farm. When he was twenty-three, while attending the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Business College he responded to a call to the Eastern States Mission, for the church, shortly before he was married to Sarah Andrus.
He chose farming as his occupation. The last of his working years were spent as a field inspector tor the Twein Peaks Canning Co. He was affiliated with two irrigation companies serving as both secretary and director.
He responded to all church calls; was in the Sunday School Superintendency of Holladay Ward and served as Superintendent of the ward M.I.A. He was one of the seven presidents of seventies of Granite Stake. Later he was secretary of the High Priests Quorum of Holladay Ward.
He possess great patience, is slow to anger, sees good in everyone, is honest in his dealings and is loved by all who know him.
