Hon. Warren Adley, an old and respected citizen of Osakis, died suddenly of heart disease last Friday evening. He had gone to his farm about half a mile from town for a load of hay, and not returning within a reasonable time Mrs. Adley sent two men after him. They found him lying in the field dead. He had been subject to heart disease for a number of years.
Mr. Adley, was born in Waterford, Maine, January 30, 1822, and came to Minnesota in the fall of 1856. During his residence in this State he has held several offices of trust, being receiver of the land office at this place and also a member of the legislature from this county. He has been a Spritualist for the past thirty years.
The funeral was very largely attended Tuesday afternoon, Mrs. Lillie, a noted Spriritualist from Brooklyn, N.Y., officiating.
