Another of The Old School Passes From Life.
John Frail an Aged Railroad Man Succumbs to an Attack of Heart Disease
The hour of six o'clock last night saw the passing of another railroad man who was of the old school. John Frail, seventy-eight years of age died at his home, 681 north Elizabeth street, as a result of a complications of diseases which had a sudden effect on his heart.
Mr. Frail was born at Kemitz, Germany, and came to Lima in 1851. For 25 years he was with the C. H. & D., and then went to the Pennsylvania, the last duty he performed in the later company's service being as watchman at the Main street crossing. At the time of his death he was on their retired list and drawing a pension.
The deceased leaves nine children, eight daughters and one son, the later is employed at the C. H. & D. shops. Twenty-six grandchildren make up the large and interesting family. Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been completed.
