MILFORD Edward D. Albertazzi, 72 of Milford MA and formerly of Brockton MA and Cape Cod, died Thursday evening (May 7, 2009) at the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge MA after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Margaret Peggy (Moore) Albertazzi. Mr. Albertazzi was born in Boston MA, and had been employed as an electrical engineer for the Boston Edison Company for over 36 years. He had served as President of Local #386, while simultaneously serving as President of the Edison Employees Club. Mr. Albertazzi was also a US Marine Corps veteran having served from 1958 to 1964. He had been a resident of Milford MA since 2002 and prior to that had resided on Cape Cod and in Brockton MA. Mr. Albertazzi is survived by his devoted wife of over 48 years; 3 Children: Stephen Albertazzi of Bedford MA, Debra, wife of Roger S. Goode Jr. of Milford MA and Kenneth Albertazzi of Gloucester MA; 5 Grandchildren; 2 Aunts: Rose Buckley of Dracut MA and Agnes Doyle of Wollaston MA; 1 Sister: Irene, wife of Daniel McCallum of Wollaston MA and their children Diana, Elice and Daniel Jr. His funeral, with Military Honors, will be held Monday (May 11th) at 9am from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress Street, Milford MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter Street, Milford MA.
