Father was Adolf Wilczynski, Adam & Stanley's mother & one of his twin sisters died of consumtion, the other from cholera. Adolf married Anastasia AKA Ester who died shortly after the birth of their third child. The five boys were raised by Ester's sister & brother-in-law, Helen & Joseph Kucharski.

AMBRIDGE - Adam J. Wilczynski, 87, of Ambridge, died Friday, April 22, 2005, in the Blake Medical Center, Bradenton, Fla.

Born Feb. 15, 1918, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Joseph and Helen Kucharski, he was a retired steelworker for Inland Steel Corporation, East Chicago, Ind. He was a member of the Baden American Legion Post 641 and was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Violet Helen Polujan Wilczynski; a son and daughter-in-law, Don and Kathy Wilczynski, Bradenton, Fla.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Irene and Francis Cercone, Aliquippa, and Mary Ann Brown, Pittsburgh; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Wilczynski, Lakeland, Fla., and Joseph Wilczynski, Danville, Ill.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepson, Alfred Heibert; two brothers, Stanley and Alfred Wilczynski, and a son-in-law, Thomas Brown. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Dr., Ambridge, where prayers will be offered Saturday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Baden, with Father Joseph Dascenzo officiating.
Interment will follow in Good Samaritan Catholic Cemetery.
Members of the Beaver County Special Unit will meet Saturday at 11 a.m. in the cemetery to provide full military honors.
A vigil prayer service will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
