OBITUARY: The Manti Messenger, Friday 22 November 1912:
MISSIONARY FROM MANTI DIES IN DENVER
Mr. Geo. Taylor, a son-in law of President Anderson of this city, died very suddenly in Denver last Friday. Mr. Taylor left Manti about a year ago to work in the western states mission. About six weeks ago he took down with typhoid fever. Mrs. Taylor and her brother, L. R. Anderson, went to Denver and Mrs. Taylor remained. He had recovered sufficiently to leave there and was preparing to start home with his wife when without warning he passed away.
The remains were brought home Sunday and the funeral was held from the Tabernacle yesterday. His mother, Mrs. Joseph Taylor and her son and daughter, Will and Maggie, arrived from Canada for the funeral and the president of the western states mission, Jno. T. Herrick came in from Denver to attend.
Husband of Mary Mabel Anderson.
BIRTH DATE: The 1900 census has his birth September 1886. His tombstone has 1885. I use the date from the census - only because it is closer to his birth than the tombstone is. I don't know which is correct.
