Son of the late Charles E and Nancy Catherine (Kennedy) Mayle. Wife of Ana Juanita or Juanita A (1922-1994)and father of 17 children. Resident of Knottsville, near Grafton, Taylor County, WV. Member of the Methodist Church and UMWA.
Coal miner with 28 years experience when the Farmington Number 9 Mine blew. He was a loading machine operator. He perished, and his remains were recovered on January 11, 1971.
