Galloway Services Held Saturday

Delma Davis Galloway, 72, 251 East Maple St. passed away last Wednesday evening at her home, following a sudden illness. She was born April 16, 1898 at Circleville, Utah, a daughter of Alexander and Mary Morrill Davis. She was married in 1923 to William Davis at Price, Utah, and he preceded her in death in 1942. She and her husband came to Idaho following their marriage.

Mrs. Galloway is survived by: three sons William C. Galloway, of Cupertino, Calif.; Jay D. Galloway and John D. Galloway, both of Shelley; two brothers, Clarence Davis, of Woodville, and Vord Davis, of Durango, Colo.; two sisters Mrs. Cassie Thompson, of Tooele, Utah, and Mrs. Frances Coe, of Magna, Utah; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Four children preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Second Ward Chapel, with Bishop Arvil Millar presiding and Muriel Clark at the organ. Family prayer was offered by Val Carson. at the Nalder Memorial Chapel preceding the service. Invocation for the services was by Theron Clark; life sketch, Leann Galloway; vocal duet, "Whispering Hope," Connie Hunter and Doris Johnson; speakers, Lloyd M. Nalder and Bishop Millar; vocal solo, "One Sweetly Solemn Thought," Reva Hanson; benediction, Bishop Weldon Griffiths.

Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery where Dee Rawson gave the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers where William, Robert, and Thomas Galloway, Warren and Carl Davies and Don Hainsworth. Floral arrangements were under the direction of the Second Ward Relief Society, with president Doris Johnson in charge.
