Adolph W. Carlson, a prominent jeweler and watchmaker of New Richmond, Wis., for over forty years, passed away at his home on Monday, July 20th.
Following the funeral services on Wednesday of last week at New Richmond the remains were brought to North Branch for burial in the Trinity Lutheran cemetery. Mr. Carlson had reached the age of 82 years.
Born in Sweden June 21, 1871, he came to this country at an early age (in 1893). On January 14, 1899, he was married to Ida C. Olson, who with two children survive his passing.
Among the relatives and friends from North Branch who attended the funeral service at New Richmond, were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Olson, Mr. Vernie Olson, Mr. Charlie Olson, Mr. August Olson, Mr. Oscar Olson and Mrs. Annie Hoover.
Mrs. Carlson, wife of the deceased is a sister of the Olson brothers and Mrs. Hoover.
