She was born at St. Clair July 4, 1915, the daughter of Louis H. Girardier and Nellie Girardier, nee Doud.
Jan. 18, 1936, she was united in marriage to Roy William Viehland.
Mrs. Viehland was of the Baptist faith.
During her working years, she was employed by International Shoe Company, St. Clair, as a heeler, retiring after 50 years of employment.
Mrs. Viehland was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Sonny, Bus and Larney Girardier; and three sisters, Sue Tucker, Elsie King and Florence Hopkins.
Mrs. Viehland is survived by her special niece, Kailey Vogt and husband Greg, St. Clair; her special great-niece, Bethanie Vogt, St. Clair; her special nephew, Arthur Viehland and wife Janet, St. Clair; one brother, Richard Girardier, St. Clair;nieces; nephews; great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 5, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, with the Rev. Chester Kneir officiating.
Interment was in Midlawn Memorial Gardens, Union.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
